New market: RAIL applications

Whether in the construction of locomotives and wagons or in maintenance: Alesco induction devices are always finding new fields of application!

A rusted bolt is a rusted bolt, regardless of whether it is installed on a lorry, a construction machine or, as in this case, on a freight wagon on the ‘Rolling Road’. All the better for us that the first Alesco A1100 is being used in a rail application right ‘on our doorstep’ at DB Schenker’s freight wagon workshop.

You wouldn’t believe what beautiful applications can be found on such a wagon!

Here is a video of a pressed-in bearing being released. By the way, you can also do this by annealing a few lines in the bearing shell from the inside (if you can reach it with the inductor). The bearing shell then shrinks at these points and can be knocked out relatively easily after cooling.
